Fantastic and straightforward service. Open, honest and prepared the car exactly 100% ready to leave that day (which I find is quite rare). Great to deal with a genuine person and not an irritating car salesman. Will definitely come back here when the time comes for a new vehicle.

First Rate Car Buying Experience. I am so delighted with our car being a retired Motor Engineer, I would give them 7 stars! These lads don't just go the extra mile - they completely Exceed Expectations! They offered a great PX deal and a perfectly presented car at a very competitive price. Tom is so very affable and easy going with great manners and a gentle caring persona but he's shrewd enough to buy very good cars to offer on. They say 'People buy People First' and this is certainly true when such a likeable person offers you something you would like! The car was and is brilliant - fully prepared etc but there was a major time related service item coming due in the following 6 months - so with no prompting or askiing, these lads had a new cam belt, water pump and idlers job done for me as well fitting a new battery + a brand new 12 months MOT (which wasn't due!) ALL within the screen price! I think we have found the most Honest and Professional car business in the Country! Main Dealers take note! We will be Back! THANK YOU TOM & JOHN! David

I would highly recommend salter and selby, Tom was an absolute pleasure to deal with, clearly not only does he know his stuff he is passionate about it too and no that does not mean a pushy sales person quite the opposite, everything from start to finish was professional and detailed i felt very comfortable and under no pressure, the car was clean and tidy and exactly as described tom took the time to go around and point anything out and continue to guide us around the vehicle and explain everything in detail including going through the extensive history the car came with. Bottom line these guys are great and i would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from them.

Tom & John were great from the start, very responsive to messages, very honest with all their feedback. I went to meet Tom near their office, he picked me up from the train station which was very helpful. Tom made buying the car easy, no pressure just all the facts i needed to know and solid knowledge of other things on the car that are useful. This is how buying a second hand car should be, just really honest guys selling well looked after cars.

John called me after i left a message regarding a 2016 VW Passat Est. Absolutely no pressure, and i felt at ease bearing in mind i have never spent lot of money on a car before! John met me at the local train station which was great. The vehicle in question is exactly what i was looking for. Great condition inside and out, John took time to explain the basic controls as i have never had a 'stop start' car nor electric handbrake.... nice drive back home to Essex. overall a great purchasing experience, and would recommend them to anyone.
